Before founding ZON+, my primary focus was on molecular materials and biotech R&D. That period was arguably the most exhausting and frustrating time of my life. For my research, I had to travel frequently across various project sites. The chronic fatigue, combined with intense daily work pressure, eventually caught up to me as severe occupational ailments, namely neck and shoulder pain alongside fasciitis. Around that time, my newborn child arrived, shattering my sleep into fragmented pieces. Waking up every day felt as though I hadn't slept at all. This constant loop of recurring pain and low energy tanked my productivity and fueled my stress, trapping me completely in a vicious cycle.

Healing Myself: Finding a Breakthrough via Microcirculation

I desperately craved that light, weightless feeling of waking up completely relaxed and full of energy, refusing to let relentless pain wear down my resolve. As a scientist, I decided to channel my research background to solve this problem firsthand—healing myself. I thought: "Since the technology I develop can enhance bioavailability by shrinking water molecular clusters, could it also be applied to improve human microcirculation?"
I discovered that muscle soreness is actually caused by prolonged strain and tissue hypoxia, while fascial adhesion stems from a lack of hydration. Consequently, I began diving deep into the benefits of far-infrared (FIR) radiation on the human body. Given that we spend nearly a third of our lives asleep, I wondered if I could seamlessly weave this far-infrared technology into our sleep to optimize that time.

I moved away from unpredictable natural minerals and successfully synthesized a safer, more stable nanomaterial myself. Following the 9th round of rigorous equipment calibration, our proprietary M9® (Material 9th adjustment) technology was officially born. By combining it with food-grade silicone, we simultaneously solved the common issues plaguing traditional pillows—being too hard, too soft, lacking support, or wearing out quickly—creating the first far-infrared pillow engineered to truly restore mind and body from the root.
